My only reservation is the heavy use of the grain texture. I think moderating it a bit so it's not so predominate might work better. Just a minor point though. Good work!

Its sorta political.

simple terms

the aristocrat = government (thus the painting to clarify)
He lost his Head.(which represents his thoughts and what he supports). Which is represented by a pig head
the Dunce cap represents his own lack of thought in policy
the head is on a serving plate to serve the intrest of the highest paying lobby.


the textured "grain" on top represents the confusion of the whole thing.

crit: the left part of the jacket has more contrast, saturation and darker shadow values than the rest of the pic, especially the pigs head.
and the protruding snout lacks a shadow
