Description
Woke up and this beauty was at my kitchen window... went outside and caught the reflection of dawn + inside light on the windo behind her..I called this Femme.. because she is out there laying an egg sac... preparing for her motherly duties
no real full version other than this... I cropped it from basicly full size.
thought I would add a link I made for kitty in comments...
this is a wider view of the same spider.. slightly diff angle and not as well focused.. will help explain the BG hehe

Ok just for kitty this is one that didnt have the right focus..
http://doughtynet.tripod.com/4kitty.jpg
only one of them came out right..... took 6 altogether.. some were silloutted
some too bright.... some didnt have the web as visable that I wanted for the composition
another one that just turned out bad

I adjusted the settings as I took the pics.. and I could tell on the LCD that this one was what I wanted.

we started this together
If I could afford it I would buy you a new camera as good as mine.... I think it would pay off in the end
*Square dont tell anyone but I got lucky.....my house faces somewhat east.. and I have to get up early..not to mention I had a spider spinning a web right at that moment ...shhh.. anyone would have taken this pic*
10/31/04 @254
Thanks for that offer...if you win the lottery I'm holding you to it! For now though, X-Mas is coming, so I'll only have this camera of mine for a little while longer.
I hope you're at least as proud of yourself as you are of me; your new camera has apparently opened your "EYE" for composition.

What "strange meetings" you make in your kitchen!!!
Spiders are not really my best friends....but "she" is a good subject (!)
Very nice composition, colors and sharpness!

I'm afraid my sorry max +7 brings down your average.
You've really dived into this and, as it seems with everything you try, you've picked it up like a champ in a matter of weeks.
It just goes to prove again that anything you put your focus into, you succede at. You already knew that though
Imagine what would happen if you focused on raking the leaves.....
(kidding KIDDING!!)

*goes to rake leaves*

My hat is off to you! (good thing I'm not bald yet or I might turn you on!
*edit* and looking at it again I just LOVE the long vertical composition - that makes this a stand out piece! Keep this one in your portfolio!
